What's the connection between midsummer and mystery?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for June 21, 2008:
Oh, for sure, the excitement of months off to do nothing, everything and anything in between! Yes, summer did indeed have feelings of magic and mystery for me. I just loved waking up in the morning with great wonder, joy and anticipation. A big adventure before me. Loving how I would spontaneously move through the day, colouring the pages of my day as I went...
I remember many trips to the country that my family took together in Jamaica. Exploring coves on the beaches, looking for crabs and shells, swimming endlessly in the pool and back to the beach. My father's many cars (volvo, valiant, maverick) overheating always in fern gully on a rainy day. It felt like another great part of the adventure. Rain falling and running like a river down the road that used to be a river bed, green canopy of leaves overhead, my father under the bonnet pouring water...
Picking guineps in the open lot next door, being careful not to get cut by the barbed wire fence or get into cow itch or macca (thorns)...
Then getting ready for school again in September. Delight in getting new books, new pencil case, sharpening my pencils, nice crayons (wooden and wax), ruler, rubbers (eraser not condoms - too young for all of that!), geometry set, my school uniforms made and hanging up, new school shoes (hoping I get hush puppies instead of clarks)...
Good memories, thanks guys!

Really cool reliving those experiences just like they were happening now. Isn't Gaia cool with questions and reflections!
A treasure to read…blessings.
