Pause for a moment. What do you notice?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for January 18, 2009:
My breath. Closing my eyes immediately and relaxing into the feeling of stillness and quietness. A rising impulse to get up, move on and do all of the things that I am excited to do today. I continue to pause and allow myself to rest...
Awareness feels like a great parent with its arms lovingly wrapped around a restless child.
I love this space. Why is it so hard at times to stay still? Kind of like a hyperactive child being forced to sit in a chair and my leg keeps moving and moving and moving! But there is nobody forcing me to sit still in any chair. I am completely willingly.
So, let's try that again...
WIth my willingness and the realisation that I am choosing this, their is an immediate feeling of relaxing. Slipping easily into the waiting peace of stillness and loving the sweet softness. There is nothing but this precious moment that I give all of my attention to. Letting go of all else, and just resting in loving silence.
Sweet.
Thank you!
