Nature’s Face

Speak to me of roses,
Bright red, white and green.
Fresh sunshine gleaming,
Pure visions to be seen.
Paint the soft white light,
Splash it across the canvas page.
Ripples of blue,
Weave an undulating path,
On the spattered sheet of grey.
Dusty bronze this morning,
Rising low in a pale blue sky.
Creeping up.
Opening wide.
Firing a golden trail,
On high.
Wispy white strands this morning
Delicately highlight the scene above.
A portrait of nature’s face shines through,
God’s magnificence and love.
Bright red, white and green.
Fresh sunshine gleaming,
Pure visions to be seen.
Paint the soft white light,
Splash it across the canvas page.
Ripples of blue,
Weave an undulating path,
On the spattered sheet of grey.
Dusty bronze this morning,
Rising low in a pale blue sky.
Creeping up.
Opening wide.
Firing a golden trail,
On high.
Wispy white strands this morning
Delicately highlight the scene above.
A portrait of nature’s face shines through,
God’s magnificence and love.
